1. Program description
Bid Swipe may use automated or non-automated text messages to send one-time passcodes, phone-verification messages, account-security alerts, order and transaction updates, shipping notices, live-show reminders, support responses, and other messages that you request or authorize. Promotional messages, if offered, require separate express consent and are not combined with required service consent.
2. Consent and opt-in
You opt in only when the applicable Bid Swipe screen clearly identifies the message type and you take the affirmative action shown, such as selecting “Send code” after entering your mobile number or checking an unchecked promotional-message consent box. Simply providing a telephone number does not, by itself, enroll you in promotional messages.
By requesting a verification code, you consent to receive a one-time transactional security code at the number provided. By separately opting in to recurring messages, you consent to receive recurring automated Bid Swipe texts in the category described at sign-up. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number and will notify us if the number changes.
3. Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your activity, requests, and settings. One-time passcode messages are sent when requested. Transaction and security messages are event-based. Recurring program frequency, when applicable, is disclosed at opt-in. Message and data rates may apply. Bid Swipe does not charge a separate fee for the messaging program, but your carrier’s rates apply.
4. How to opt out
Reply STOP to cancel. You may also use other supported opt-out keywords, including STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. We may send one final confirmation that your opt-out was processed. After that, no further messages will be sent under the applicable program unless you opt in again. Opting out may prevent delivery of requested SMS security codes; where available, use another verification method.
5. How to get help
Reply HELP for help or email info@bidswipe.com. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment-card information, or identity documents by text or email.
6. Delivery and availability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to network availability, carrier filtering, device settings, and other conditions outside Bid Swipe’s control. The program may not be available on all carriers or devices. Bid Swipe may suspend or end a messaging program, change sending numbers, or update these terms, subject to applicable notice requirements.
7. Privacy and mobile-data restrictions
Our Privacy Policy describes data practices for the Services. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile information and SMS consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or used by third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Contact
Questions about the Bid Swipe Messaging program may be sent to info@bidswipe.com. These SMS Terms supplement the Bid Swipe Terms of Service. If these SMS Terms conflict with the general Terms on a messaging issue, these SMS Terms control for that issue.
